Offering the hope and life found only in Jesus Christ, THE GATHERING continues making an incredible impact.

Together, with God’s blessings and favor, and your continued giving, we will equip families and raise up leaders; empowering the next generation to help the helpless, reach the unreached, and bring glory to God.

We are the church, and we are building His kingdom one life at a time!

We are excited for your interest in supporting the ministries of THE GATHERING and that you are taking steps in your spiritual growth.  Always remember, God doesn’t need your money… He’s just looking for your heart. It isn’t about what God wants FROM you; it’s all about what God wants FOR you.  As you join us in our mission of sharing the message of Jesus, know that your generosity enables us to help more and more people experience a life changing relationship with Him.

For God so loved the world He gave His one and only Son… John 3:16a.

God gave!  He gave His Son, His Son gave His life.  He gave us abundant life on earth.  He gave us eternal life in heaven.  God gave us the Holy Spirit who gives us gifts and wisdom and peace.  It takes courage, but if we want to become more like God, like Jesus, then we follow their example
to become extravagant givers!

Giving at THE GATHERING is affectionately known as “bringing back” to God a portion of our financial resources. It’s our opportunity to give God our thanks, show God we trust Him and to combat the natural greed in our hearts…and all while joining in on the most important work of life…connecting people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Let’s divide financial giving into 2 categories:  tithes and offerings.

The Bible teaches that a tithe (which literally means a 10th) of income was to be contributed to the local church.   In the second half of the Bible, or New Testament, Jesus was born.  His life’s example reinforced the tithe and encouraged us to give “over and above” it.  The “over and above” is called an offering.

We believe that you can’t out give God. So when we “bring back” to Him what is already His, we know He will bless the rest
(Proverbs 3:9-10 and Malachi 3:1-12).

Start with a paycheck. What is the gross, you know before taxes and anything else is taken from it?  Calculate 10% and
that is your tithe amount.

You might say, I am on a budget…I can’t start with 10%!  Then start with a smaller percentage and
increase it over time with the end goal of reaching the 10%.

Honor the Lord with our wealth.

…Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wineProverbs 3: 9 &10

You can’t worship and honor Him enough…and you can’t out give Him.

We think Christians should be the most generous people (2 Corinthians 9:6) on earth to support worthy causes, and there is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church (Ephesians 3:10)!

Pray for opportunities to be generous.
Be intentional, and prepare your budget to be generous.
Be on the lookout for the opportunity to be generous.
Listen to God and then respond.
