Who is Jesus

Imagine waking up every morning with a reason to get up…a sense of purpose and newness. Imagine going through every dark time in life with hope and peace, knowing that your plan is not unnoticed and that you’re not alone. Imagine also having someone to thank for every win…every best moment in life: for love, success, contentment, and the tough times, too!
This is the life of a Christ Follower. Most people know that faith in Jesus Christ promises an eternity in heaven, but there’s more! Jesus came to give life…life fulfilled and amazing right here on earth. Living life in Christ is your perfect design and you can choose that life today!

Why It’s Needed
Because of one man’s (Adam) sin, we are all born sinners…it’s a part of our nature. That’s why we can’t just stop doing all that stuff we know we shouldn’t do. We are all sinners. The consequence of sin is death and eternal separation from a holy and perfect God. Hell, not heaven, is our future without a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:23, 5:12, 6:23, 1 John 1:5

How It Works
Sin was our problem and there was nothing we could do to deal with it. So, God, in the greatest demonstration of real love, sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sin. That penalty was death. Jesus willingly gave his life on the cross taking on himself all the sins of the world. Because Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life, he was the only one who could pay for our sin.

Three days after his death on the cross, Jesus rose from the dead conquering death, hell, and the grave, once and for all. The blood that Jesus shed on the cross, and his resurrection, gives everyone the opportunity to receive salvation, freedom from our sin nature and eternal life with God.

The only requirement is to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive God’s gift of grace by faith. Without faith in Christ, there is no reconciliation with God; there can be no forgiveness or eternal life. Good isn’t good enough. Jesus is the only way to salvation.
1 Peter 2:21,22, Romans 5:20, John 3:16, Romans 5:8, John 15:13, 1 Peter 2:24, Ephesians 2:8,9, John 14:6

How To Get It
It’s as simple as one prayer. Follow these steps to a brand new beginning!

Admit…
Admit that God has not been number one in your life. Confess out loud that you are a sinner and in need of God’s grace and salvation. Genuinely express sorrow over your sin and choose to believe that Jesus Christ is your only hope.
1 John 1:9

Agree…
Agree that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay for your sin. Believe in and receive his work on the cross as the power to break sin’s hold in your life. Then confess out loud that Jesus Christ is Lord and that he is alive.
Romans 10:9, 10

Accept…
Simply accept Christ into your heart as a free gift with sincerity and brokenness. Ask Jesus to come into your life as Lord and Savior. Surrender control to his Spirit and ask for wisdom and strength to follow him all the days of your life.
Ephesians 2:8,9

Pray – talk to him and say this…
Lord Jesus, I admit that I need you in my life. I’ve messed up…I’ve sinned. I acknowledge that you died on the cross and rose again all because of my moral foul-ups. That you for washing away all my sin and for forgiving me today. I surrender my life to you, come into my heart as my Lord and Savior forever. I choose to follow you. Amen
John 6:47
